For this project, we learned about electricity and then programming and coding. It was very interesting yet difficult to understand at the same time. It was fun experience and in the end, my group made a "robot art show" with an arduino board that played happy birthday and Blank Space by Taylor Swift.

Concepts
Voltage(V) - potential energy drop across a component of a circuit. V= IR. Measured in volts.Power(P)- rate of doing work or amount of energy used per unit time. P = W/t. Measured in watts.
Circuit - a circuit is a closed loop conductive material from positive to negative sides of a power source.
Resistance(R) - a measure of how much resistance the current encounters. In series, resistor values add, and in parallel, 1/R(total) = 1/R(1) + 1/R(2) + 1/R(3). R = V/I Measured in ohms.
Current(I) - electricity through a circuit. I = V/R. Measured in amps.

This project was the most foreign to me. I had never done programming or anything like it before so it took a pretty long time to start understanding what all of the commands meant. Also, no one in my group had ever done it before so it was new to all of us. Something that went well was the arduino. After having many troubles starting off with the breadboard, I found that the arduino was a lot more understandable and the instructions were clear. This helped my group and I make the best art show we could have because we knew what we were doing. Another thing that went well was our final product. I think our final product was awesome and to be able to listen to two songs while an LED light blinks corresponding to the note is incredible. One thing that went poorly was the coding and programming. It took a long time to figure it out but in the end I understand an abundant more amount of when we started. One thing I learned is that programming is used for soooooo many daily life applications. It's crazy how many things I thought were done differently but yet I couldn't find an explanation for that was done by programming. Another thing I learned is that coding is pretty confusing. There are so many commands and little things you need to know it could take 10 years to master. I will continue to work on my programming skills because they need some work. I will also continue experimenting with the bread boards somehow because they are really engrossing to me. The extent of what a person can do with an Arduino is crazy. Some peaks from this project were our end result. It finished so well and I was proud of my group for helping me along and finally understanding some of it. Another peak was the way we got there. We had ups and downs on the road to happy birthday but we got through it. Some pits were when we couldn't figure out how to make each note correspond with an LED light which took a lot of work. In the end, we figured that out. Another pit was our start. I feel that we started off a little slower than most of the other groups because of our not knowing of the subject. We pulled through and made a great project to end.
